Privacy Policy

Storybee helps parents and guardians create illustrated stories for their family. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, and the choices you have.

Who Storybee is for

Storybee is intended for use by adults on behalf of children. Children should use Storybee with a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly create child accounts or ask children to provide contact details.

Information we collect

We collect account details from Sign in with Apple, story preferences, toy photos, toy names, prompts, generated story text, illustrations, narration metadata, device identifiers needed for app security, purchase entitlement data from Apple, support emails, and basic service logs.

How we use information

We use information to create and save stories, provide narration, sync your library across devices, manage subscriptions or credits, keep the service secure, respond to support requests, improve reliability, and comply with legal obligations.

Toy photos and stories

Toy photos and prompts are processed to create your story. Generated stories are stored online so your library works across devices until you delete them. If you turn on offline copies, an additional copy may be stored on your iPad and can be removed from Storage settings.

Service providers

We use trusted providers for hosting, storage, authentication, payments, story generation, image generation, narration, app security, analytics, and support. These providers may process information only to help us provide Storybee.

Children's privacy

Because Storybee may involve children, we aim to collect only what is needed, avoid public profiles or social features, and give parents control over saved stories. If you believe a child has provided personal information without parental involvement, contact support@storybee.uk.

Advertising and purchases

Some plans may remove ads or add story credits. Purchases are handled by Apple. If ads are shown, we aim to avoid using children's story content for personalised advertising.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and story data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can delete saved stories from the library and remove offline copies from Storage settings. Some security, billing, and support records may be retained where required.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to use of your personal information. To make a request, email support@storybee.uk.
